The Big “I" Diversity Council is pleased to work with leading organizations on fresh initiatives to support underrepresented agents:
1) Developing agency owners. Are you a small agency owner under the age of 42 or that identifies as a person of color, LGBTQ or a woman? The Big “I" Diversity Council is launching its third Right Start Agency Owner Mentorship initiative next month.
Throughout the duration of the six-month program, each agency owner participant will be connected with a carrier executive and a seasoned agency owner to better position their agency for further success. Visit the Right Start Agency Owner Mentorship program page for application instructions.
2) Empowering women. “Empowered women empower women," as the saying goes. We are partnering with SynerDynamics to provide a group of selected Big “I" women agency leaders with discounted registration to participate in an eight-month MyNetwork Masterminds Women's Mentoring Group.
Each monthly session provides peer-to-peer insights with other women in leading agency roles. The goal? To provide the ultimate mentorship experience that encourages, empowers and enhances our women leaders. Visit the Women Empowering Women page for more information.
3) Attracting and retaining new business. Part one of the Right Start Training Series will kick off on-demand Thursday, Oct. 8. This four-part webinar series will teach agency leaders how to better position their agency for success resulting in both attracting and retaining appointments with top carriers.
Part one, “Your Agency's Operating Style," will first take a deep dive into overall agency operating style. Next, we will explore SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis and how to use the methodology to benefit any agency. Lastly, we will look at how to fine-tune or create an agency value proposition. Big “I" members can register here for free.
