| With many thanks to Big "I" Agents Council for Technology (ACT) partner Encova Insurance, we'll get back to basics the afternoon of Oct. 5 at Encova's home office in downtown Columbus, Ohio. This event coincides with the conclusion of the Ohio Insurance Agents IACON event that is also in Columbus Oct. 4-5, giving you the most out of your travels to the Buckeye State. All Big “I" member agencies, partner carriers, and partner technology providers are welcome to attend the ACT meeting. The event is free for Big “I" members! Come and enjoy a complimentary lunch and free parking at Encova's office. Content will include discussions on the following, with the concepts of people, process and risk woven into all topics:
1) Artificial intelligence. Conversations will include how to strike a balance between the philosophical and ethical sides of using AI, as well as tactical ways agents are using this technology right now.
2) Connectivity. Learn about incumbrances and opportunities that exist in our industry's connectivity journey, including the use of application programming interfaces (APIs).
