Trusted Choice® is proud to announce its fifth annual summer social media campaign to raise money for Make-A-Wish®. During the month of August, Trusted Choice will donate $10 to the wish-granting organization based on the number of shares from its Facebook page.
“Trusted Choice is pleased to continue using Facebook in such a positive way to raise money and awareness for Make-A-Wish,” says Dave Evans, Trusted Choice executive director.
Trusted Choice has sponsored wishes for 36 children with life-threatening medical conditions since its first social media campaign in 2011 and will provide 50 grants this year, totaling $375,000, for Make-A-Wish chapters through a local sponsorship initiative before year’s end.
This year, Trusted Choice is committed to donating a minimum of $100,000 and a maximum of $150,000 with this campaign. In its five-year history, Trusted Choice has raised more than $620,000 for Make-A-Wish through the social media campaign and an additional $1.5 million through its local grant sponsorships—a total of more than $2 million since 2011.
