The Big “I” national Young Agents Committee offers two different scholarships to help young agents attend the Big “I” Legislative Conference, to take place this year April 13-15 at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown Hotel.
If you’re a first-time conference attendee, your state association can nominate you for one of two $500 scholarships. Submit your application to your state association young agent contact and they will notify national by submitting their nominations on or before March 1, 2016.
First-time young agent attendees may also apply for the Maurice Herndon Scholarship—a $1,000 scholarship presented to one individual in honor of Maurice Herndon, who spearheaded many of the grassroots initiatives that make the Big "I" what it is today. The deadline to submit the essay application is March 1, 2016.
