Ground Transportation InformationWyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach & Golf Resort Shuttle Service:
Group Services, Inc., Puerto Rico’s premier destination management company located at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, provides guests with convenient airport transportation. Arrange 48 hours prior, $44 per trip. There is a 2-passenger minimum to book, and the shuttle has standard operating hours covering most arriving and departing flights. Transfers outside the scheduled shuttle times can be arranged privately at an additional cost.
The airport shuttle is a shared transfer, and other guests may be traveling to the Rio Mar on board the shuttle. Once you have scheduled your shuttle service, you'll receive a confirmation with instructions for the arrival process via the GSI booking system.
If you are traveling alone, there are 2 options:
- Pay for the minimum of 2 passengers and utilize the shuttle.
- Take an Uber or taxi from the airport (due to fixed fare pricing, a taxi at any time is quite close to the cost of the shuttle for 2 passengers).

Taxi (Wyndham & Fairfield Hotels):
Cabs to/from the airport to the hotel cost an estimated $90 to $120 (does not include gratuity).
NOTE - Due to fixed fare pricing, a taxi at any time is comparable to the Wyndham shuttle's cost for 2 passengers. A taxi ride takes 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic.
Uber App-based Ride Service (Wyndham & Fairfield Hotels):
If you want to use something other than the traditional mode of transportation, Uber is available. The cost can be as low as $45, depending on the time of day and surge pricing. At other times, Uber can be more expensive than the shuttle. Remember to download the Uber mobile app in advance. Passengers can meet their app-based ride service in the pickup zone located on the ground floor of Terminals A and B.
REMINDER - For your planned return from either hotel to the airport, it's highly recommended that you pre-arrange your transportation in advance. Requesting a Taxi or Uber at the last minute may cause a delay in your departure.
