Consumers Insurance Joins Trusted Choice

Regional Insurer Becomes 18th Company Partner in Branding Initiative



ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 20 - Consumers Insurance, a well-respected regional insurance company based in Murfreesboro, Tenn., is the newest company partner of Trusted ChoiceSM—the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America's (IIABA) national branding initiative that highlights the benefits offered by independent agents and brokers.

Consumers Insurance becomes the 18th Trusted ChoiceSMcompany or strategic partner. The consumer marketing brandwas created by IIABA and independent agency companies to educate consumers about Trusted ChoiceSM agencies and their pledge to the qualities they value most from an insurance provider—choice, customization and advocacy.

Consumers Insurance serves customers in Missouri and Tennessee and its primary focus is personal and commercial auto policies. It is the only property and casualty company domiciled in Tennessee whose stock is majority-owned by independent insurance agents—a strong indication of its attention to the needs and desires of the agency system.

Founded in 1995, Consumers Insurance markets three different tiers of personal automobile insurance, and is a specialty market for such commercial risks as auto dealers; garage/repair operations; commercial auto; inland marine; and towing services.
