Michigan Agent is IIABA Young Agent of the Year

Lisa Lemanski of Meiers Lombardini Lemanski Insurance in East Lansing recognized by national association.

lemanski_lisa.jpgALEXANDRIA, Virginia, Oct. 15, 2015 —The National Young Agents Committee (YAC) of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) presented the Outstanding Young Agent of the Year award to Lisa Lemanski of the Young Agents Council of the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA). Lemanski is an independent insurance agent and office manager of Meiers Lombardini Lemanski Insurance, an East Lansing-based independent insurance agency that offers personal, business and life insurance products. 
 
“We are honored to recognize Lisa Lemanski for her dedication to the young agent program and the industry,” says Boyd McGehee, national Young Agents Committee chairman and president of Talladega Insurance in Talladega, Alabama. “Lisa is well-respected by her peers across the country and the Michigan agent community. She’s a dedicated spokesperson on behalf of the industry through her volunteer work with the InVEST program and on the MAIA Young Agents Council.” 
 
Lemanski serves as the young agent representative on the MAIA board and previously served on the MAIA legislative affairs task force. She also serves on the agent and corporate advisory council for Hastings Mutual Insurance Company. Prior to joining the Meiers Lombardini Lemanski Insurance Services, she worked as an underwriter for Auto-Owners Insurance. Lemanski earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government at Aquinas College.emanski serves as the young agent representative on the MAIA board and previously served on the MAIA legislative affairs task force. Lisa and her fellow her Michigan young agents also earned two committee awards: the Outstanding Membership Development Award and the Outstanding Political Involvement Award.
