Fireman’s Fund to Deliver Additional E&O Market to Big “I” Members
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 21, 2006—The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I”) is partnering with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company to offer a nationally endorsed program for insurance agents Errors & Omissions (Agents E&O) coverage. This new product adds an additional market to the Big “I” National Professional Liability Program.
“We’re pleased to introduce this program—agents are faced with increasingly complex insurance products and services to offer to their policyholders, and we believe this coverage will be extremely beneficial,” said Big “I” CEO Robert A. Rusbuldt. “Fireman’s Fund is a recognized leader in our industry. This new Agents E&O program is an additional, attractive E&O offering to agents and brokers.”
Agents E&O coverage provides liability coverage for agents, for example: protecting agents in the event they fail to provide a specific coverage or provide any coverage at all.

The Agents E&O program will commence with a pilot program in five states in August 2006. The pilot will last approximately sixty days with a phased rollout to other states in the fourth quarter of 2006.
