How agents can measure their social networking efforts to best communicate with customers and grow their business.

A panel of experts will answer the question: How do I measure my success with social networking? Chris Paradiso, an independent insurance agent who has had great success with social media, will be joined by four prominent agency consultants known for their social media expertise: Steve Anderson, Rick Morgan, Mike Peterson and Mike Wise. The panelists will cover why you should measure your social media activity; the importance of having goals; the most appropriate metric(s) to use; and how to use some of the available measurement tools.

The panel will make the case and answer the "why" you should measure your social engagement activity. The discussion will also cover what should be measured. With established goals, it is possible to determine the most appropriate metric (audience, engagement, conversions, customer service) to measure. Finally, the panel will take a look at some of the tools available (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to help you measure and analyze your social networking effort.
