Effective Risk Management usually works directly for risk bearers, e.g., buyers of insurance, attorneys, CPAs and other business consultants to assist with claims or insurance negotiations, develop contract clauses, perform due diligence audits and respond to insurance and other risk related questions.
For some clients Pauline acts as a part-time risk manager by advising the CEO, COO or CFO on day to day decisions and assisting with on-going program administration. This might include exposure identification; evaluation of indemnification, hold harmless and insurance clauses in contracts; advising on claims, risk control, and insurance program design; evaluating and recommending updates to risk financing programs, verifying workers’ compensation dividend or classification data, evaluating performance of service providers and assisting with other risk related activities.
Effective Risk Management does not sell insurance nor is it affiliated with any insurance brokerage or insurance company.
